Abstract
An herbicidal composition which exerts excellent control effect on weeds and a method for controlling weeds are described. The herbicidal composition comprises epyrifenacil and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of 4-amino-3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-(7-fluoro-1H-indol-6-yl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid cyanomethyl ester, a phenylisoxazoline compound represented by the following formula (1): (1S,4R)-4-[[[(5S)-3-(3,5-difluorophenyl)-5-vinyl-4H-1,2-oxazol-5-yl]carbonyl]amino]-cyclopent-2-ene-1-carboxylic acid methyl ester, rimisoxafen, and 2,4-D DMAPA salt.

A method for controlling weeds, comprising:
- simultaneously or sequentially applying, to a place where weeds are growing or will grow, epyrifenacil and a phenylisoxazoline compound of formula (1):
