Abstract
A propulsion system includes a supply path for supplying power from the battery to the motor. On a power-supply path of the supply path, a power-supply switch is provided between the battery and an inverter circuit. The inverter circuit includes an arm switch. When an abnormality related to the motor occurs, the flight control device performs a multi-cut-off process. In the multi-cut-off process, the supply path is cut off by a plurality of switches, which are a power-supply switch and an arm switch. In the multi-cut-off process, after an abnormal-time current is reduced by the arm switch, the supply path is cut off by the power-supply switch.
Claims18
A propulsion system configured to propel a flight vehicle, the propulsion system comprising:
- a motor configured to be driven to propel the flight vehicle by power supplied from a power supply device;
- a power converter including a conversion switch, which is a semiconductor switch, provided on a supply path, which is to supply electric power from the power supply device to the motor, the power converter configured to drive the conversion switch to convert electric power supplied from the power supply device to the motor;
- a power-supply switch, which is a mechanical switch, provided on the supply path between the power supply device and the power converter and configured to cut off the supply path;
- and
- at least one of (i) a circuit and (ii) a processor with a memory storing computer program code executable by the processor, the at least one of the circuit and the processor configured to cause the propulsion system to:
- when an abnormality related to the motor occurs, cause at least one of the conversion switch or the power-supply switch to cut off the supply path in a mode corresponding to a state of the abnormality;
- cause the conversion switch to reduce an abnormal-time current, which flows through the supply path when an abnormality related to the motor occurs;
- and
- cause the power-supply switch to cut off the abnormal-time current after a timing at which reducing in the abnormal-time current is started.
A propulsion control device configured to control a propulsion system, the propulsion system including a motor configured to be driven to propel a flight vehicle by power supplied from a power supply device, a power converter including a conversion switch, which is a semiconductor switch, provided on a supply path, which is to supply electric power from the power supply device to the motor, the power converter configured to drive the conversion switch to convert electric power supplied from the power supply device to the motor, and a power-supply switch, which is a mechanical switch, provided on the supply path between the power supply device and the power converter and configured to cut off the supply path, the propulsion control device comprising:
- at least one of (i) a circuit and (ii) a processor with a memory storing computer program code executable by the processor, the at least one of the circuit and the processor configured to cause the propulsion system to:
- determine whether an abnormality related to the motor occurs;
- when an abnormality related to the motor occurs, cause at least one of the conversion switch or the power-supply switch to cut off the supply path in a mode corresponding to a state of the abnormality;
- cause the conversion switch to reduce an abnormal-time current, which flows through the supply path when an abnormality related to the motor occurs;
- and
- cause the power-supply switch to cut off the abnormal-time current after a timing at which reducing in the abnormal-time current is started.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program for causing at least one processor to execute control of a propulsion system, the propulsion system including a motor configured to be driven to propel a flight vehicle by power supplied from a power supply device, a power converter including a conversion switch, which is a semiconductor switch, provided on a supply path, which is to supply electric power from the power supply device to the motor, the power converter configured to drive the conversion switch to convert electric power supplied from the power supply device to the motor, and a power-supply switch, which is a mechanical switch, provided on the supply path between the power supply device and the power converter and configured to cut off the supply path, the program comprising instructions configured to, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
- determine whether an abnormality related to the motor occurs;
- when an abnormality related to the motor occurs, cause at least one of the conversion switch or the power-supply switch to cut off the supply path in a mode corresponding to a state of the abnormality;
- cause the conversion switch to reduce an abnormal-time current, which flows through the supply path when an abnormality related to the motor occurs;
- and
- cause the power-supply switch to cut off the abnormal-time current after a timing at which reducing in the abnormal-time current is started.
