Connector

A connector to be fit into a counterpart connector to allow terminals provided in the connector and the counterpart connector to be connected to each other, the connector comprising:

• an electric wire having a terminal attached to a tip thereof;
• and
• a housing having the terminal housed therein,
• wherein:
• the housing includes:
• a terminal housing having the terminal located therein, and
• an electric wire holding portion being in communication with the terminal housing and holding the electric wire,
• the connector further comprising:
• a seal having an electric wire insertion hole formed therein, through which the electric wire is inserted, the seal being attached to the electric wire holding portion to seal a gap between the electric wire and the electric wire holding portion,
• a seal retainer attached to the electric wire holding portion to inhibit the seal from coming off from the electric wire holding portion, and
• a cover attached to the electric wire holding portion to cover the seal retainer,
• the cover has a confirmation portion formed therein, through which the seal retainer and the seal attached to the electric wire holding portion are confirmed from the outside of the connector in an attachment direction in which the seal retainer and the seal are attached to the electric wire holding portion,
• the seal retainer has a seal confirmation portion formed therein, through which the seal is confirmed, and
• the confirmation portion is configured such that the seal is confirmed through the confirmation portion and the seal confirmation portion.
