Lug-cover assembly and associated drive system

- The lug-cover assembly according to claim 1, wherein:

• the cover comprises a bottom wall, connecting the insertion opening to the connection opening;
• the lug comprises at least one tooth, which projects transversely from the connection end and forms the rear locking abutment;
• and
• when the lug is positioned in the cover in the incorrect orientation, the lug rests against the bottom wall via said at least one tooth the lug thus being held in an oblique orientation relative to the insertion direction, about a lateral axis perpendicular to the insertion direction.

- The lug-cover assembly according to claim 5, wherein:

• the lug comprises a back, which connects the connection termination to the base and which is transversely opposite the rear locking abutment;
• the lug is slidably guided in the insertion direction by sliding the back along the bottom wall, when the lug is inserted into the cover in the nominal orientation;
• and
• the lug comes to rest against the rear retaining abutment via the back when the lug is positioned in the cover in the incorrect orientation.

- The lug-cover assembly according to claim 1, wherein:

• the cover comprises an intermediate opening, arranged between the insertion opening and the connection opening and emerging in the interior of the cover
• the cover comprises a retaining blade, which is arranged in the intermediate opening, a free end of which forms the front locking abutment, the retaining blade being elastically deformable, between:
• a locking configuration, where the front locking abutment is positioned to abut against the rear locking abutment, to prevent the lug from coming out, and
• an unlocking configuration, where the front locking abutment does not prevent the lug from coming out of the cover, even when the lug is positioned in the cover in the nominal orientation;
• and
• the retaining blade is configured so that:
• it can be brought into the unlocking configuration from outside the cover via the intermediate opening, when the retaining blade is in the locking configuration, and
• it will resiliently return to the locking configuration when the retaining blade is in the unlocking configuration.

- A drive system for operating a closure, occultation, or solar protection device, comprising:

• the lug-cover assembly according to claim 1, the lug being positioned in the cover in the nominal orientation;
• an electric motor,
• a conductive cable, electrically connecting the electric motor and the lug, by being permanently attached to the base of the lug;
• and
• an electrical component, consisting of a capacitor and having a terminal coupled with the connection termination of the lug, through the connection opening of the cover.
