Abstract
A switching element for a temperature-dependent switching mechanism of a temperature-dependent switch. The switching element is configured as a bimetal element or a spring element, has a convexly curved upper side and a concavely curved lower side, and is made of an electrically conductive material, in particular, a metal. The switching element has a plurality of distributed, punctiform elevations for forming local unevenness on the upper side and/or the lower side.

A switching element for a temperature-dependent switching mechanism of a temperature-dependent switch, the switching element being a bimetal element or a spring element, having a convexly curved upper side and a concavely curved lower side, and being made of an electrically conductive material,
- wherein the switching element comprises a plurality of distributed, punctiform elevations for forming local unevenness on at least one of the upper side or the lower side.
A temperature-dependent switch having two terminals and a temperature-dependent switching mechanism which is configured, depending on its temperature, to switch between a closed switch position, in which an electrically conductive connection is established between the two terminals, and an open switch position, in which the electrically conductive connection is interrupted, wherein the temperature-dependent switching mechanism comprises a switching element, the switching element being a bimetal element or a spring element, having a convexly curved upper side and a concavely curved lower side, and being made of an electrically conductive material, wherein the switching element comprises a plurality of distributed, punctiform elevations for forming local unevenness on at least one of the upper side or the lower side.
A method for manufacturing a switching element for a temperature-dependent switching mechanism of a temperature-dependent switch, comprising the steps of:
- (i) punching out the switching element from a metal sheet;
- (ii) forming the switching element into a curved shape with a convexly curved upper side and a concavely curved lower side;
- and
- (iii) creating a plurality of distributed, punctiform elevations in the switching element to form local unevenness on the upper side and/or the lower side.
