Technologies directed to pattern recognition in application database queries with scheduled pre-cached data retrieval are described. A method receives data queries from query sources directed to a target database, where each query includes parameters such as a temporal range specifying a data retrieval period. In response, the method stores copies of the queries, uses pattern recognition logic to identify query patterns from the parameters, and creates scheduled tasks to pre-retrieve data from the target database. The pre-retrieved data is stored in a cache. When a subsequent query is received that matches an identified pattern, the method retrieves the corresponding pre-cached data and sends it to the query source, improving response efficiency.
