Abstract
A system running method and a terminal apparatus are provided. The terminal apparatus includes N partitions, where N is a positive integer, and different partitions are storage areas used to store data of different functions in the terminal apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a first partition table, where the first partition table includes information about at least one of the N partitions, and the first partition table is updatable; reading, based on a latest first partition table, data stored in the at least one partition; and running an operating system of the electronic device based on the data.

A method, applied to a terminal apparatus, wherein the terminal apparatus comprises N partitions, N is a positive integer, different partitions are storage areas storing data of different functions in the terminal apparatus, and the method comprises:
- obtaining a first partition table, wherein the first partition table comprises information about at least one partition of the N partitions, and the first partition table is updatable;
- reading, based on a latest copy of the first partition table, data stored in the at least one partition;
- and
- running an operating system of the terminal apparatus based on the data.
A terminal apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor, a memory, and one or more programs, wherein the memory comprises N partitions, N is a positive integer, different partitions are storage areas storing data of different functions in the terminal apparatus,
- the one or more programs are stored in the memory, the one or more programs comprise instructions, and when the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the terminal apparatus is enabled to perform operations including:
- obtaining a first partition table, wherein the first partition table comprises information about at least one partition of the N partitions, and the first partition table is updatable;
- reading, based on a latest copy of the first partition table, data stored in the at least one partition;
- and
- running an operating system of the terminal apparatus based on the data.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores a computer program, and when the computer program is run on a terminal apparatus, the terminal apparatus is enabled to perform:
- obtaining a first partition table, wherein the first partition table comprises information about at least one partition of N partitions, the first partition table is updatable, N is a positive integer, and different partitions are storage areas used to store data of different functions in the terminal apparatus,
- reading, based on a latest copy of the first partition table, data stored in the at least one partition;
- and
- running an operating system of the terminal apparatus based on the data.
