Abstract
A method for controlling an inspection apparatus is configured to inspect power consumption of a home appliance including a compressor, the method includes: transmitting a signal to operate the compressor at a preset rotations per minute (RPM) to the home appliance; obtaining a power value detected in the home appliance from the home appliance; and determining whether the home appliance is defective based on a plurality of power values obtained during a preset time (TP1) among the obtained plurality of power values.

A method for controlling an inspection apparatus configured to inspect power consumption of a home appliance including a compressor, the method comprising:
- transmitting a signal to operate the compressor at a preset rotations per minute (RPM) to the home appliance;
- obtaining a power value detected in the home appliance from the home appliance;
- and
- determining whether the home appliance is defective based on a plurality of power values obtained during a preset time (TP1) among the obtained plurality of power values.
An inspection apparatus to inspect power consumption of a home appliance including a compressor, comprising:
- communication circuitry configured to communicate with a home appliance;
- a user interface configured to receive a user input or output information to a user;
- and
- a controller configured to perform a power consumption inspection of the home appliance based on the received user input,
- wherein the controller is configured to:
- transmit a signal to operate a compressor included in the home appliance at a preset rotations per minute (RPM) to the home appliance through communication circuitry;
- obtain a power value detected in the home appliance from the home appliance through the communication circuitry;
- and
- determine whether the home appliance is defective based on a plurality of power values during a preset time (TP1) among the obtained plurality of power values.
