Abstract
Proposed are a display device including a multilayer nonpolar liquid and a method of manufacturing the same. The display device may include a display panel, a cover window at least partially in contact with the display panel, and a multilayer nonpolar liquid layer positioned between the display panel and the cover window. The multilayer nonpolar liquid layer may include a gap control layer positioned between the display panel and the cover window and having a film shape, a first nonpolar liquid positioned between the display panel and the gap control layer, and a second nonpolar liquid positioned between the gap control layer and the cover window.
Claims14
A display device including a multilayer nonpolar liquid, comprising:
- a display panel;
- a cover window at least partially contacting the display panel;
- and
- a multilayer nonpolar liquid layer positioned between the display panel and the cover window,
- wherein the multilayer nonpolar liquid layer comprises:
- a gap control layer positioned between the display panel and the cover window, the gap control layer having a film shape;
- a first nonpolar liquid positioned between the display panel and the gap control layer;
- and
- a second nonpolar liquid positioned between the gap control layer and the cover window.
A method of manufacturing a display device including a multilayer nonpolar liquid, the method comprising:
- applying a first nonpolar liquid to an upper surface of a display panel;
- placing a gap control layer on the first nonpolar liquid;
- applying a second nonpolar liquid onto the gap control layer;
- and
- placing a cover window on the second nonpolar liquid.
