Backlight module and display device

A display apparatus, comprising:

• a display panel configured to display images;
• a backlight source comprising a direct-lit backlight source and configured to provide backlight to the display panel, wherein the backlight source is disposed on a rear side of the display panel corresponding to a display area, and a light-emitting surface of the backlight source faces the display area such that light emitted from the backlight source illuminates a region corresponding to the display area;
• the backlight source comprising:
• a plurality of lamp boards each comprising a plurality of driving units and a plurality of light-emitting units, an adapter plate, and a first circuit board, wherein
• the plurality of the light-emitting units on each lamp board are divided into a plurality of light-emitting areas, each light-emitting area comprising one or more light-emitting units;
• the adapter plate is provided with a plurality of metal wires, at least a part of the plurality of metal wires being configured to transmit control signals;
• the adapter plate further comprises a first connecting terminal, and each lamp board is provided with a second connecting terminal corresponding to the first connecting terminal, wherein the lamp board is electrically connected to the adapter plate through the first and second connecting terminals;
• the first circuit board is disposed on a side of the plurality of lamp boards away from the plurality of light-emitting units, and the first circuit board comprises one or more third connecting terminals corresponding to one or more fourth connecting terminals provided on the adapter plate;
• the first circuit board is configured to receive area control data from a main board or a timing controller;
• the first circuit board is further configured to transmit a control signal corresponding to the area control data to the adapter plate via the third and fourth connecting terminals;
• and
• one of the plurality of driving units on each lamp board comprises:
• a first end electrically connected to one or more light-emitting units, and a second end electrically connected to the second connecting terminal of the lamp board for receiving the control signal from the adapter plate to drive the one or more light-emitting units to emit light.
