Abstract
An actuator includes a mirror on which a permanent magnet is provided and that can oscillate with respect to a reference plane, by using a first axis and a second axis not being parallel to the first axis as oscillation axes, a first electromagnet consisting of two electromagnets that cause the mirror to oscillate with respect to the first axis, the two electromagnets being independent of each other, and a second electromagnet that causes the mirror to oscillate with respect to the second axis. The two electromagnets do not overlap the first axis as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the reference plane. The two electromagnets each extend in parallel to the first axis as viewed from the direction perpendicular to the reference plane.
Claims11
An actuator comprising:
- a mirror on which a permanent magnet is provided and that can oscillate with respect to a reference plane, by using a first axis and a second axis not being parallel to the first axis as oscillation axes;
- a first electromagnet consisting of two electromagnets that cause the mirror to oscillate with respect to the first axis, the two electromagnets being independent of each other;
- and
- a second electromagnet that causes the mirror to oscillate with respect to the second axis, wherein
- the two electromagnets do not overlap the first axis as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the reference plane, and
- the two electromagnets each extend in parallel to the first axis as viewed from the direction perpendicular to the reference plane.
