Device and method for testing boundary pillar failure induced by tailings backfill in open pit

A device for testing boundary pillar failure induced by tailings backfill in an open pit, comprising:

• a test assembly (100);
• a conveying assembly (200), connected to the test assembly (100) and configured to uniformly feed tailing into the test assembly (100);
• a pressure control assembly (300), connected to the test assembly (100) and configured to control pressure in the test assembly (100);
• and
• a monitoring assembly (400), disposed on the test assembly (100) and configured to monitor data information within the test assembly (100) when internal pressure of the test assembly (100) is changed;
• wherein the test assembly (100) comprises:
• a test box (110);
• a test plate (120), arranged in an interior of the test box (110), and configured to form a funnel-shaped open pit model (101) in the test box (110);
• a boundary pillar model (130), arranged in the test box (110) and positioned at a bottom of the open pit model (101);
• and
• a mining body component model (140), arranged in the test box (110) and in contact with a bottom of the boundary pillar model (130), and is configured to support the boundary pillar model (130);
• wherein the conveying assembly (200) comprises:
• a protective housing (210), arranged on the test box (110) and formed at a bottom thereof with a plurality of discharge openings (201) in communication with the open pit model (101);
• a drive shaft (220), coaxially and rotatably mounted inside the protective housing (210);
• a blocking plate (230), fixedly arranged on the drive shaft (220) in an alternating manner, and the blocking plate (230) blocks the discharge openings (201) when the blocking plate (230) is in contact with the discharge openings (201);
• a material storage assembly (240), in communication with the protective housing (210), and configured to convey tailings into the protective housing (210);
• and
• a vibration component (250), arranged on an outer wall of the test box (110), and configured to uniformly spread the tailings within the open pit model (101).
