Abstract
One embodiment of the present invention provides a refrigerator comprising: a cabinet that forms at least one space; a display door that opens and closes the space and has a display panel for outputting information; first, second, and third doors that open and close the space and detect a knocking gesture; and a control unit that controls the display panel, wherein the control unit receives a knocking gesture detected from at least one of the first door, the second door, and the third door and operates on the basis of the received knocking gesture.
Claims16
A refrigerator comprising:
- a cabinet defining at least one space therein;
- a display door configured to open and close the space and composed of a display panel configured to output information;
- a first door, a second door, and a third door configured to open and close the space and sense a knock gesture;
- and
- a controller configured to control the display panel,
- wherein the controller is configured to:
- receive the sensed knock gesture from at least one of the first door, the second door, and the third door;
- and
- perform an operation based on the received knock gesture.
A method for controlling a refrigerator including a cabinet defining at least one space therein, a display door configured to open and close the space and composed of a display panel configured to output information, a first door, a second door, and a third door configured to open and close the space and sense a knock gesture, and a controller configured to control the display panel, the method comprising:
- receiving the sensed knock gesture from at least one of the first door, the second door, and the third door;
- and
- performing an operation based on the received knock gesture.
