Abstract
A lighter comprises a housing having a nozzle, wherein the housing is adapted to receive a gas and/or fuel reservoir device. The lighter comprises a connecting device, wherein the connecting device is configured to couple the gas and/or fuel reservoir device to the nozzle. The connecting device is adjustable along a longitudinal axis of the lighter.
Claims20
A lighter, comprising:
- a housing having a nozzle and a recess, the recess configured to receive a fuel device having a valve;
- and
- a connecting device, the connecting device having an end face, an outer surface, and a chamfer arranged between the end face and the outer surface, wherein the chamfer is configured to receive a force from the fuel device when the fuel device is inserted in the recess and pivot the connecting device such that, when the fuel device is located within the recess, the valve couples to the connecting device such that the fuel device and the nozzle are in fluid communication.
A lighter system, comprising:
- a first lighter including a valve;
- and
- a lighter housing including a nozzle and a housing recess, the housing recess configured to receive the first lighter, the lighter housing further including a connecting device, the connecting device having an end face, an outer surface, and a chamfer arranged between the end face and the outer surface, wherein the chamfer is configured to receive a force from the first lighter when the first lighter is inserted in the housing recess and pivot the connecting device such that, when the first lighter is located within the housing recess, the valve couples to the connecting device such that the first lighter and the nozzle are in fluid communication;
- wherein the first lighter is configured to be independently operated from the lighter housing.

- a connecting device, the connecting device having an end face, an outer surface, and a chamfer arranged between the end face and the outer surface, wherein the chamfer is configured to receive a force from a fuel device when the fuel device is inserted in the lighter housing and pivot the connecting device such that, when the fuel device is located within the lighter housing, a valve of the fuel device couples to the connecting device.
