Vehicle door handle system

A vehicle door handle system comprising a wing handle movable between a retracted position and a deployed position, wherein:

• in the retracted position, the wing handle is configured to be at least partially retracted in a vehicle door,
• in the deployed position, the wing handle is configured to be protruding outwardly with respect to the vehicle door,
• the vehicle door handle system comprises an actuator configured to cause the wing handle to move between the retracted position and the deployed position, a movement of the wing handle between the retracted position and the deployed position comprising a translation movement between the retracted position and an intermediate extended position and a rotation movement between the intermediate extended position and the deployed position, and
• movements of the wing handle are controlled by the actuator by means of an intermediate piece fixed to the wing handle and comprising bearing members preventing the wing handle from rotating when the wing handle is in the deployed position.
