Abstract

This disclosure relates to a core-shell microcapsule slurry that includes (a) a core-shell microcapsule, wherein the core-shell microcapsule has a microcapsule core and a microcapsule shell encapsulating the microcapsule core, the microcapsule core comprises an active material, and the microcapsule shell comprises a self-condensed polyisocyanate and a beta-1-4 non-ionic polysaccharide; (b) a dispersant comprising a denatured protein, wherein the denatured protein comprises a denatured pea protein and/or a denatured whey protein; and (c) a hydrocolloid comprising gum Arabic; wherein the microcapsule shell is characterized by a rupture force of at least 100 μN. This disclosure also relates to a process of producing such core-shell microcapsule slurry. This disclosure also relates to a consumer product containing such core-shell microcapsule slurry.
