Abstract

An ink jet ink set includes a first ink jet ink and a second ink jet ink. The first ink jet ink contains a first pigment containing a black pigment, a first binder resin containing an anionic urethane resin particle, an organic solvent, and water. The first pigment is contained in an amount of 3% by mass or more based on a total amount of the first ink jet ink. The anionic urethane resin particle is contained in an amount of 5% by mass or more based on the total amount of the first ink jet ink. The anionic urethane resin particle is an only resin particle contained in a largest amount in the first binder resin. The second ink jet ink contains a second pigment containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a black pigment and a blue pigment, a second binder resin containing an anionic acrylic resin particle, an organic solvent, and water. The second pigment is contained in an amount of 3% by mass or more based on a total amount of the second ink jet ink. The anionic acrylic resin particle is contained in an amount of 3% by mass or more based on the total amount of the second ink jet ink. The anionic acrylic resin particle is an only resin particle contained in a largest amount in the second binder resin.
