Abstract

A vehicle assembly includes a door assembly having a door coil that is configured to interface with a vehicle coil to transfer power from a power supply on a vehicle to the door assembly. The door coil can interface with the vehicle coil to transmit data between the vehicle and the door assembly. The door assembly may be changeable back-and-forth between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the door assembly is provided by an inner module coupled to an outer module. In the second configuration, the door assembly is provided by the inner module without the outer module.
