Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting apparatus

A liquid ejecting head comprising:

• a flow path member having a plurality of nozzles that eject a liquid in a first direction, a plurality of individual flow paths that individually communicate with the plurality of nozzles, and a common flow path that commonly communicates with the plurality of individual flow paths, wherein
• the flow path member includes
• a pressure chamber substrate that is provided with a pressure chamber which is a portion of the individual flow path and in which pressure is applied to the liquid to eject the liquid, and
• a communication plate that is provided with a flow path which is a portion of the individual flow path and causes the nozzle and the pressure chamber to communicate with each other, and that has a second surface which is a surface in a second direction that is a direction opposite to the first direction,
• the pressure chamber substrate is stacked on the second surface,
• a flow path section located in the second direction with respect to the second surface is disposed with a gap in a third direction which is a direction orthogonal to the first direction of the pressure chamber substrate,
• the communication plate has a plurality of first recessed portions which are recessed from a first surface that is a surface in the first direction of the communication plate to a bottom surface located between the first surface and the second surface, and some of which overlap the gap when viewed in the first direction, and
• a space defined by the first recessed portion is a portion of the individual flow path.
