Abstract
An enclosure is provided having a first and a second substrate, a common laser weld zone, a function zone enclosed inside the enclosure, and a fluid channel allowing for a fluid flow between the function zone and an outside area. The first substrate is transparent at least in part and/or at least for a wavelength bandwidth. The common laser weld zone permanently joins the first substrate to the second substrate and/or to provide for a hermetic sealing between the first substrate and the second substrate. The function zone includes a cavity and is inside the enclosure.
Claims24
An enclosure comprising:
- a first substrate and a second substrate wherein the first substrate is transparent at least in part and/or at least for a wavelength bandwidth;
- a common laser weld zone wherein material of the first and second substrates is mixed, and wherein the laser weld zone is designed to permanently join the first substrate to the second substrate and/or to provide for a hermetic sealing between the first substrate and the second substrate;
- a function zone optionally comprising a cavity, enclosed inside the enclosure;
- a fluid channel allowing for a fluid flow between said function zone and an outside, wherein the fluid channel has a height (h), wherein the height (h) of the fluid channel is defined by
- (i) a volume increase of material of the first substrate and/or the second substrate within the laser weld zone and/or
- (ii) ablation and/or selective etching of material of the first substrate and/or the second substrate outside of the laser weld zone.
(canceled)
An immersible sensor element for measuring fluid properties, comprising:
- a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein the first substrate is transparent at least in part and/or at least for a wavelength bandwidth;
- a common laser weld zone wherein material of the first and second substrates is mixed, wherein the laser weld zone is designed to permanently join the first substrate to the second substrate and/or to provide for a hermetic sealing between the first substrate and the second substrate;
- a function zone for example comprising a cavity, enclosed inside the enclosure, and comprising a sensor element, in particular a fluid sensor element;
- and
- at least one fluid channel allowing for a fluid flow between said function zone and an outside.
An immersible donator element for changing or adapting fluid properties, for emitting a pharmaceutical product, comprising an enclosure comprising:
- a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein the first substrate is transparent at least in part and/or at least for a wavelength bandwidth;
- a common laser weld zone wherein material of the first and second substrates is mixed, wherein the laser weld zone is designed to permanently join the first substrate to the second substrate and/or to provide for a hermetic sealing between the first substrate and the second substrate;
- a function zone optionally comprising a cavity, enclosed inside the enclosure, and comprising a donator fluid reservoir;
- and
- a fluid channel allowing for a fluid flow between said function zone and an outside.
An immersible specific filter element, for being deployed in a fluid, comprising:
- a first substrate and a further substrate, wherein the first substrate is transparent at least in part and/or at least for a wavelength bandwidth;
- a common laser weld zone wherein material of the first and further substrates is mixed, wherein the laser weld zone is designed to permanently join the first substrate to the further substrate (4, 4a) and/or to provide for an at least partially hermetic sealing between the first substrate and the further substrate;
- a function zone comprising a cavity;
- a first fluid channel allowing for a fluid inflow into said function zone from an outside, and at a second fluid channel allowing for a fluid outflow into said fluid, wherein the second fluid channel is designed such that selectable particles or components of the fluid are retained inside the cavity 2 when said fluid streams through said filter element, wherein the first fluid channel has a height and the second fluid channel has a height, wherein the respective height of the first fluid channel and the second fluid channel is defined by
- (i) a volume increase of material of the first substrate and/or the further substrate within the laser weld zone and/or
- (ii) ablation and/or selective etching of material of the first substrate and/or the further substrate outside of the laser weld zone.
