The present disclosure relates to bio-sludge, and biochar based nanocomposite material, and preparation methods thereof. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a bio-sludge and biochar based TiO2 nanocomposite materials for photocatalytic CO2 reduction and a preparation method thereof.

A method for producing a nanocomposite material comprising bio-sludge or biochar/TiO2, wherein the method comprises combining the bio-sludge or biochar with TiO2 by a sol-gel process and/or self-assembly of the particles through physical mixing.
