A metal organic framework comprising

• a volume mean particle diameter of from 1.0 to 30.0 μm, and a ratio D10/D90, which is a ratio of a median diameter D10 to a median diameter D90, of from 0.35 to 1.00, wherein
• a volume frequency of particles having a particle diameter of less than 2 μm is 20% or less.

A method for manufacturing a metal organic framework, comprising

• a centrifuging-shearing step of simultaneously applying centrifugal force and shearing force to a blend comprising a metal ion donor, a multidentate ligand, and a solvent, and
• a step of recovering the blend subjected to the centrifuging-shearing step and subjecting the recovered blend to the centrifuging-shearing step again.

A method for manufacturing a metal organic framework, comprising

• a centrifuging-shearing step of simultaneously applying centrifugal force and shearing force to a blend comprising a metal ion donor, a multidentate ligand, and a solvent,
• wherein a median diameter D50 of the multidentate ligand is from 0.1 to 50.0 μm.
