Abstract
A bearing assembly for a drug delivery device pump unit includes: A hollow plunger rod with a proximal end and a distal end defining a central longitudinal axis and with an inner thread, a threaded rod rotatable around the longitudinal axis with an outer thread and forming a pivot on its proximal end section, the outer thread configured to engage the inner thread of the plunger rod, a drive sleeve couplable rotationally fixed to the threaded rod, a base sleeve having an end wall on its proximal side, a bearing element where the base sleeve is forming a mounting hole around the longitudinal axis in the end wall to accommodate axially the bearing element and the pivot.
Claims15
A bearing assembly for a drug delivery device pump unit, the bearing assembly comprising:
- a hollow plunger rod with a proximal end and a distal end defining a central longitudinal axis and with an inner thread;
- a threaded rod rotatable around the longitudinal axis with an outer thread and forming a pivot on its proximal section, the outer thread configured to engage the inner thread of the plunger rod;
- a drive sleeve couplable rotationally fixed to the threaded rod;
- a base sleeve having an end wall on its proximal side;
- and
- a bearing element,
- wherein the base sleeve forms a mounting hole around the longitudinal axis in the end wall to axially accommodate the bearing element and the pivot, and
- wherein the bearing element is arranged proximally adjacent to the pivot.
