Abstract
Provided is a dengue virus like particle specific for type 4 dengue virus (DENV4 VLP), comprising a chimeric dengue structural protein, and a composition or vaccine comprising thereof, its use in the prevention or treatment of dengue infection. The chimeric dengue structural protein comprises prM and envelope regions and is a chimera of parts each derived from DENV1, DENV3 and DENV4.

A dengue virus like particle specific for type 4 dengue virus (DENV4 VLP) comprising a chimeric dengue virus viral structural protein, wherein said chimeric dengue virus viral structural protein comprises prM and envelope regions and is a chimera of parts each derived from DENV1, DENV3 and DENV4.
A cell line expressing the DENV4 VLP which comprises an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1.
