Abstract
A roll strap for positioning a patient includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first connection end, a second connection end opposite the first connection end, and a central portion defined between the first connection end and the second connection end. The roll strap further includes a first lateral edge connector coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the first surface and a first attachment coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the first surface. The first attachment is configured to removably couple with the first lateral edge connector.
Claims20
A roll strap for positioning a patient, the roll strap comprising:
- a first surface;
- a second surface opposite the first surface;
- a first connection end;
- a second connection end opposite the first connection end;
- a central portion extending between the first connection end and the second connection end;
- a first lateral edge connector coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the first surface;
- and
- a first attachment coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the first surface, the first attachment being configured to removably couple with the first lateral edge connector.
A system for positioning a patient on a support structure having a support surface, the system comprising:
- a roll strap, comprising:
- a first connection end,
- a second connection end,
- a first lateral edge connector coupled to the first connection end,
- a first attachment coupled to the first connection end, the first connection end being configured to engage with a first portion of the support structure such that the first lateral edge connector engages with the first attachment, and
- an attachment connection strip extending between the first connection end and the second connection end.
A method for positioning a patient, the method comprising:
- placing a roll strap on a support structure, the roll strap comprising:
- a first surface configured to contact a patient,
- a second surface opposite to the first surface,
- a first connection end,
- a second connection end,
- a first lateral edge connector coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the second surface, and
- a first attachment coupled to the first connection end and positioned on the second surface;
- pulling at least one of the first connection end or the second connection end in a direction towards an opposing side of the support structure;
- and
- engaging at least one of the first connection end or the second connection end with a portion of the support structure.
