Abstract
A brush and method of brush production in which, inter alia, a brush (1) which has a bristle carrier (2) with a receiving depression (5) which, during fastening of bristle filaments (4) to the bristle carrier (2), is filled completely or partially by melted filament material of fastening-side ends (6) of the bristle filaments (4) of the brush (1) to be produced.
Claims22
A brush (1), comprising:
- a bristle carrier (2);
- a bristle set (3) comprising bristle filaments (4), wherein the bristle carrier (2) has at least one receiving depression (5), in which the bristle filaments (4) are fastened by fastening-side ends (6) thereof;
- and
- the at least one receiving depression (5) is filled completely or partially by melted filament material of the fastening-side ends (6) to fasten the bristle filaments (4).
The brush (1) as claimed in claim wherein at least one of, a) before fastening of the bristle filaments (4), the bristle carrier (2) has a smallest material thickness in a region of the receiving depression (5), or b) the bristle carrier (2) is reinforced by the melted filament material.
