Hair styling appliance

A hair styling apparatus comprising:

• a first arm and a second arm pivotally coupled together and moveable between an open position and a closed position, an inner wall of the first arm is arranged to face an inner wall of the second arm, wherein the first arm and the second arm are arranged to receive hair within a cavity therebetween, wherein the cavity is formed between the first arm and the second arm in the closed position, wherein at least one of the first arm and second arm comprise a plenum, said plenum comprising an air inlet for receiving airflow from a fan unit and an air outlet configured to direct airflow towards the cavity, and wherein the hair styling apparatus is free of any heated plates for contacting hair.

A hair styling apparatus comprising:

• a first arm and a second arm coupled together at a first end thereof wherein an inner wall of the first arm faces an inner wall of the second arm, wherein the first arm and the second arm are arranged to receive hair within a cavity formed between the first arm and the second arm, wherein at least the first arm comprises a plenum, said plenum comprising an air outlet for emitting air towards hair within the cavity, wherein the cross-sectional area of the plenum decreases in size, and
• a hair clamp comprising a first clamping member, wherein the first clamping member is supported by the inner wall of one of the first arm or second arm.
