Aerosol-generating article and an assembly thereof

An aerosol-generating article for an aerosol-generating device, the aerosol-generating article comprising:

• a frame comprising opposed first and second surfaces and a cavity, the opposed first and second surfaces defining a thickness of the frame, the frame enclosing the cavity, the cavity extending through the thickness of the frame;
• a first sheet fixed to the first surface of the frame to overlie the cavity;
• and
• a portion of sensorial media disposed directly on the first sheet within the cavity,
• wherein the second surface of the frame is peelably attachable to an impermeable surface of an element to thereby close the cavity and seal the portion of sensorial media within the cavity,
• wherein the aerosol-generating article has a length, a width, and a thickness, and
• wherein the thickness is 3.5 millimetres or less.

An assembly comprising a plurality of aerosol-generating articles and a supporting sheet, wherein the plurality of aerosol-generating articles are peelably attached to an impermeable surface of the supporting sheet, each of the aerosol-generating articles comprising:

• a frame comprising opposed first and second surfaces and a cavity, the opposed first and second surfaces defining a thickness of the frame, the frame enclosing the cavity, the cavity extending through the thickness of the frame;
• a first sheet fixed to the first surface of the frame to overlie the cavity;
• and
• a portion of sensorial media disposed directly on an impermeable surface of the first sheet within the cavity,
• wherein for each of the aerosol-generating articles, the second surface of the frame is peelably attached to the impermeable surface of the supporting sheet to thereby close the cavity and seal the portion of sensorial media within the cavity, each of the aerosol-generating articles having a length, a width, and a thickness, and
• wherein the thickness is 3.5 millimetres or less.
