Abstract

An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a substrate section including aerosol-forming substrate; and a tubular section with a sidewall circumscribing a hollow interior, the tubular section being located downstream of the substrate section, an upstream end of the sidewall including an upstream end face comprising a convex curvature, a part of the tubular section being positioned adjacent to the substrate section, the sidewall of the tubular section further including a ventilation zone, and the ventilation zone including perforations in the sidewall. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating device including a cavity, and the aerosol-generating article, is also provided.
