Abstract

An aerosol-generating article (10) comprises a first segment (12) located at a mouth end; a second segment (16) comprising an aerosol generating substrate, and located upstream of the first segment (12); optionally a third segment (18) comprising a filter material, and located upstream of the second segment (16); a cooling agent applied to at least a part of an outer surface of a tipping paper and/or impregnated into the filter material of the third segment (18) and/or applied to at least a part of an outer surface of the filter material of the third segment (18), and a flavouring agent applied to the aerosol-generating substrate, said flavouring agent comprising menthol. An aerosol-generating device is adapted to receive at least a part of such an article (10), and an aerosol-generating system comprises the device and the article (10).
