A kitchen appliance comprising a dead front display assembly, the assembly comprising:
- a display panel having an exterior surface featuring a display zone for presenting visual display information from optical output of a display output device, wherein at least a portion of the exterior surface of the display panel comprises a curved surface, and at least a portion of the interior surface is planar.
