Abstract
A method for operating a first communicating device includes sensing an availability of transmission resources; determining a first candidate sidelink resource set in accordance with the availability of transmission resources; and transmitting, to a second communicating device, a sidelink control information (SCI) message comprising a priority indicator indicating a priority associated with the first candidate sidelink resource set and time resource assignments of the first candidate sidelink resource set, the time resource assignments comprising resources reserved by the first communicating device for updating a second candidate sidelink resource set of the second communicating device.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- sensing, by a first communication device, availability of transmission resources to determine a first candidate sidelink resource set;
- receiving, by the first communication device from a second communication device, a sidelink control information (SCI) message for inter communication device coordination, the SCI message comprising resource information of a second candidate sidelink resource set provided by the second communication device, and the second candidate sidelink resource set being a preferred sidelink resource set or a non-preferred sidelink resource set;
- and
- selecting, by the first communication device, a sidelink resource set for sidelink communication in accordance with the first candidate resource set sensed by the first communication device and the second candidate sidelink resource set indicated by the SCI message.
A first communication device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a non-transitory memory storage comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first communication device to perform operations including:
- sensing availability of transmission resources to determine a first candidate sidelink resource set;
- receiving, from a second communication device, a sidelink control information (SCI) message for inter communication device coordination, the SCI message comprising resource information of a second candidate sidelink resource set provided by the second communication device, and the second candidate sidelink resource set being a preferred sidelink resource set or a non-preferred sidelink resource set;
- and
- selecting a sidelink resource set for sidelink communication in accordance with the first candidate resource set sensed by the first communication device and the second candidate sidelink resource set indicated by the SCI message.
A non-transitory computer storage device storing a program, that when executed by a first communication device, cause the first communication device to perform operations including:
- sensing availability of transmission resources to determine a first candidate sidelink resource set;
- receiving, from a second communication device, a sidelink control information (SCI) message for inter communication device coordination, the SCI message comprising resource information of a second candidate sidelink resource set provided by the second communication device, and the second candidate sidelink resource set being a preferred sidelink resource set or a non-preferred sidelink resource set;
- and
- selecting a sidelink resource set for sidelink communication in accordance with the first candidate resource set sensed by the first communication device and the second candidate sidelink resource set indicated by the SCI message.
