Abstract
An uplink coverage enhancement method includes: sending repetition indication information to a network device, in which, the repetition indication information is configured to indicate repetition of uplink control information on a common physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) by the terminal; determining, based on a repetition indication sent by the network device, a number of times to send the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel; and sending the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel according to the determined number of times.

An uplink coverage enhancement method, performed by a terminal, comprising:
- sending repetition indication information to a network device, wherein the repetition indication information indicates repetition of uplink control information on a common physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) by the terminal;
- determining, based on a repetition indication sent by the network device, a number of times to send the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel;
- and
- sending the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel according to the determined number of times.

- receiving repetition indication information sent by a terminal, wherein the repetition indication information indicates repetition of uplink control information on a common physical uplink control channel by the terminal;
- sending a repetition indication to the terminal, wherein the repetition indication is used to instruct the terminal to determine a number of times to send the uplink control information by the terminal on the common physical uplink control channel (PUCCH);
- and
- receiving the uplink control information sent by the terminal on the common physical uplink control channel according to the determined number of times.

- determine, based on a repetition indication sent by the network device, a number of times to send the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel (PUCCH);
- send the uplink control information on the common physical uplink control channel according to the determined number of times.
