Abstract
A method for transmitting information is performed by a first terminal, wherein the first terminal establishes a direct link and an indirect link with a network device, the direct link is a link where the first terminal is directly connected to the network device, and the indirect link is a link where the first terminal is indirectly connected to the network device via a second terminal. The method includes: determining that a link failure occurs in one of the direct link and the indirect link; and reporting link failure information to the network device, wherein the link failure information is configured to indicate that the link failure occurs in the direct link or the indirect link of the first terminal.

A method for transmitting information, performed by a first terminal, wherein the first terminal establishes a direct link and an indirect link with a network device, the direct link is a link where the first terminal is directly connected to the network device, and the indirect link is a link where the first terminal is indirectly connected to the network device via a second terminal, wherein the method comprises:
- determining that a link failure occurs in one of the direct link and the indirect link;
- and
- reporting link failure information to the network device, wherein the link failure information is configured to indicate that the link failure occurs in the direct link or the indirect link of the first terminal.

- receiving link failure information reported by the first terminal, wherein the link failure information is configured to indicate that a link failure occurs in the direct link or the indirect link of the first terminal.

- a network device;
- and
- a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein the first terminal is configured to establish a direct link and an indirect link with the network device, the direct link is a link where the first terminal is directly connected to the network device, and the indirect link is a link where the first terminal is indirectly connected to the network device via the second terminal,
- wherein the first terminal is further configured to:
- determine that a link failure occurs in one of the direct link and the indirect link;
- and
- report link failure information to the network device, wherein the link failure information is configured to indicate that the link failure occurs in the direct link or the indirect link of the first terminal, and
- wherein the network device is configured to receive the link failure information reported by the first terminal.
