Abstract
A method includes a first network device that obtains first biometric identification information of a user of a first terminal device, and sends, based on a first authentication request message that is received from a second network device and that is used to authenticate the user, the first biometric identification information to the second network device or a third network device. The first biometric identification information is used to perform identity authentication on the user of the first terminal device. According to embodiments of this disclosure, authentication on a natural person identity can be provided in communication.
Claims20
A method implemented by a first network device in a core network wherein the method comprises:
- obtaining first ne first biometric identification information of a user of a terminal device;
- receiving, from a second network device an authentication request message;
- and
- sending, to a second network device or a third network device that operates as a media plane network element in the core network and based on the authentication request message, the first biometric identification information to perform identity authentication on the user by comparing the first biometric identification information with second biometric identification information from a media stream from the terminal device.
A method,
- receiving first biometric identification information of a user of a first terminal device;
- obtaining second biometric identification information from a service message;
- and
- authenticating, based on the first biometric identification information and the second biometric identification information, the user.
A first network device in a core network and comprising:
- one or more memories configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the one or more memories, wherein when executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the first network device to:
- obtain first biometric identification information of a user of a terminal device;
- receive, from a second network device, an authentication request message;
- and send, to a second network device or a third network device that operates as a media plane network element in the core network and based on the authentication request message, the first biometric identification information, in order to perform identity authentication on the user by comparing the first biometric identification information with second biometric identification information from a media stream received from the terminal device.
