A communication apparatus, comprising:

• at least processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to carry out a method including:
• receiving a first common signal, wherein
• the first common signal occupies a frequency domain resource, the first common signal is one of a plurality of first common signals sent by a network apparatus, the plurality of first common signals occupy M frequency domain resources, M is an integer greater than 1, and the frequency domain resource occupied by the first common signal is one of the M frequency domain resources;
• and
• the plurality of first common signals are common signals of a same serving cell, and the plurality of first common signals are common signals within one common signal transmission period.

A communication apparatus, comprising:

• at least processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to carry out a method including:
• sending a plurality of first common signals, wherein
• the plurality of first common signals occupy M frequency domain resources, M is an integer greater than 1, and a first common signal among the plurality of first common signals occupies one of the M frequency domain resources;
• and
• the plurality of first common signals are common signals of a same serving cell, and the plurality of first common signals are common signals within one common signal transmission period.
