Electrical Connector and Electrical Connector Assembly

An electrical connector, comprising:

• a housing;
• and
• conductive terminals,
• wherein the housing comprises
• a base portion which is provided with a plurality of terminal passageways, the plurality of terminal passageways penetrate from a rear surface of the base portion to a front surface of the base portion, respective ones of the conductive terminals are provided in respective ones of the terminal passageways and are exposed from the front surface of the base portion to form a contacting end portion;
• and
• a guiding portion which extends forwardly from the base portion to form a cooperating end portion, a distance between the cooperating end portion and the front surface of the base portion is greater than a distance between the contacting end portion of the conductive terminal and the front surface of the base portion, a side surface of the guiding portion is provided with a placing groove which allows the corresponding conductive terminal to be inserted therein, the placing groove is communicated with the corresponding terminal passageway so that a part of the corresponding conductive terminal is provided in the corresponding terminal passageway and a part of the corresponding conductive terminal is placed in the placing groove.
