Conductor terminal

A conductor terminal comprising:

• at least one spring-loaded terminal connection to connect an electrical conductor via a spring force;
• an insulating material housing in which the at least one spring-loaded terminal connection is arranged, the at least one spring-loaded terminal connection has at least one clamping spring with a clamping leg and a busbar having a contact section, which together with the clamping leg forms a clamping point for clamping the electrical conductor;
• a conductor passage opening provided in the insulating material housing through which the electrical conductor clamped at the clamping point extends out of the insulating material housing;
• a conductor receiving channel connected to the conductor passage opening in the insulating material housing, in which the electrical conductor is received when it is clamped to the spring-loaded terminal connection;
• and
• a side opening provided on the conductor receiving channel on at least one side,
• through which the conductor receiving channel is formed continuously from the conductor
• passage opening to the clamping point or laterally open in the direction of the clamping
• point,
• wherein an electrical conductor to be clamped is adapted to be inserted into the
• conductor receiving channel from the side through the side opening via a lateral insertion
• movement in the direction of the contact section.
