Abstract
An active noise reduction device is installed in a control unit provided with a processor. The active noise reduction device includes at least one canceling sound outputter configured to output a canceling sound for canceling a noise, at least one error microphone configured to generate an error signal based on the noise and the canceling sound, and a controller configured to control the canceling sound outputter based on the error signal. The controller includes at least one filter that can be adaptively updated, and the controller is configured to control an adaptive update process of the filter according to a usage rate of the processor.

An active noise reduction device installed in a control unit provided with a processor, the active noise reduction device comprising:
- at least one canceling sound outputter configured to output a canceling sound for canceling a noise;
- at least one error microphone configured to generate an error signal based on the noise and the canceling sound;
- and
- a controller configured to control the canceling sound outputter based on the error signal,
- wherein the controller includes at least one filter that can be adaptively updated, and
- the controller is configured to control an adaptive update process of the filter according to a usage rate of the processor.
