A gate arrangement includes a gate with a first gate body and second gate body adjacent the first gate body, and a blocking element movable by an actuator of the gate between an open and closed position. An actuator control equipment controls the actuator. The actuator control equipment controls the actuator to generate an actuating force counteracting the external force up to a maximum permissible actuating force when an external force acts onto the blocking element. An occupancy status detection equipment detects an occupancy status of the gate at a control area side of the blocking element and/or at a non-control area side of the blocking element. A force detection equipment detects a force parameter causing the actuating force. The actuating force counteracts the acting external force. The actuator control equipment adjusts the maximum permissible actuating force of the actuator based on the detected force parameter and detected occupancy status.
A gate arrangement, comprising:
A method for operating a gate arrangement, wherein the gate arrangement comprises at least one gate having a first gate body and a second gate body arranged adjacent to the first gate body, wherein the first gate body and the second gate body define a passageway between a control area and a non-control area, and having at least one blocking element movable by at least one actuator of the gate between an open position and a closed position, and at least one actuator control equipment configured to control the actuator such that the actuator moves the blocking element into a predefined position, wherein the actuator control equipment is configured to control the actuator such that, if at least one external force acts onto the blocking element, the actuator generates an actuating force counteracting the external force up to a maximum permissible actuating force, wherein the method comprises:
