Encoding and decoding method and device-cloud collaboration system

A decoding method for a device-side device, the decoding method comprising:

• receiving a bitstream;
• decoding the bitstream to obtain a residual image of a current image;
• performing rendering on a three-dimensional scene to obtain a rendered image, wherein an intermediate rendering result is generated in the rendering, and the intermediate rendering result comprises a first intermediate rendering result;
• performing a target operation on a reconstructed image based on the first intermediate rendering result, to generate a virtual reference block, wherein the target operation comprises at least one of reprojection, validity check, weighted averaging, hole filling, or intra-frame noise reduction;
• predicting the rendered image based on the virtual reference block, to obtain a predicted image;
• and
• performing reconstruction based on the predicted image and the residual image, to obtain a reconstructed image of the current image.

A decoder, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium coupled to the one or more processors and storing a program, which when executed by the one or more processors, causes the decoder to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a bitstream;
• decoding the bitstream to obtain a residual image of a current image;
• performing rendering on a three-dimensional scene to obtain a rendered image, wherein an intermediate rendering result is generated in the rendering, and the intermediate rendering result comprises a first intermediate rendering result;
• performing a target operation on a reconstructed image based on the first intermediate rendering result, to generate a virtual reference block, wherein the target operation comprises at least one of reprojection, validity check, weighted averaging, hole filling, or intra-frame noise reduction;
• predicting the rendered image based on the virtual reference block, to obtain a predicted image;
• and
• performing reconstruction based on the predicted image and the residual image, to obtain a reconstructed image of the current image.
