Biometric authentication-based access to displayed documents or content with modifiable frequency or schedule for triggering authentication processes

A computer-implemented method, comprising:

• receiving, by a computing system, a plurality of data including at least one of location data indicating a current location of the computing system or document security level data indicating a security risk level for each document among displayed content being accessed;
• determining, by the computing system, a security risk level for display of the displayed content on a display device of the computing system while the computing system is located within the current location, based on a combination of data among the plurality of data;
• and
• setting or modifying, by the computing system, at least one of a frequency or a schedule for triggering an authentication verification process, based on the security risk level for display of the displayed content, the authentication verification process, when triggered, comprising:
• determining, by the computing system, whether observers of the displayed content are authorized to access the displayed content;
• and
• when the computing system determines that at least one individual among the observers is not authorized to access the displayed content being displayed on the display device, performing, by the computing system, one or more actions.

A computing system, comprising:

• a main processor including a trusted execution environment (“TEE”);
• and
• an authentication system that runs within the TEE and that executes computer executable instructions that cause the authentication system to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a plurality of data including at least one of location data indicating a current location of the computing system or document security level data indicating a security risk level for each document among displayed content being accessed;
• determining a security risk level for display of the displayed content on a display device while the computing system is located within the current location, based on a combination of data among the plurality of data;
• and
• setting or modifying at least one of a frequency or a schedule for triggering an authentication verification process, based on the security risk level for display of the displayed content, the authentication verification process, when triggered, comprising:
• determining whether observers of the displayed content are authorized to access the displayed content;
• and
• when the computing system determines that at least one individual among the observers is not authorized to access the displayed content being displayed on the display device, performing one or more actions.
