Systems and methods for coherence management for a virtual pool of memory (vpom)

A system comprising:

• a processing circuit, and
• a memory storing instructions, which, based on being executed by the processing circuit, cause the processing circuit to perform:
• receiving a first transaction request comprising a request to access first data from a first shared memory, and comprising first coherence information having a first status, the first coherence information indicating a request to receive a first data-change notification,
• receiving a second transaction request to access the first data from the first shared memory, the second transaction request causing a first data change of the first data, and
• based on determining that the first coherence information has a second status that is different from the first status, modifying a first entry comprising the first coherence information.

A system comprising:

• an access processing circuit associated with a first shared memory, wherein the access processing circuit is configured to perform:
• receiving a first transaction request comprising a request to access first data from the first shared memory, and comprising first coherence information having a first status, the first coherence information indicating a request to receive a first data-change notification,
• receiving a second transaction request to access the first data from the first shared memory, the second transaction request causing a first data change of the first data, and
• based on determining that the first coherence information has a second status that is different from the first status, modifying a first entry comprising the first coherence information.
