Systems and methods for displaying autonomous vehicle graphical user interfaces

A method for displaying a graphical user interface of an autonomous vehicle using a progressive web application, the method comprising:

• receiving a progressive web application comprising the graphical user interface from a computing node communicatively coupled to the one or more display devices via a local network of the autonomous vehicle;
• receiving, in one or more predefined formats, one or more autonomy messages from the computing node communicatively coupled to the one or more display devices via the local network of the autonomous vehicle;
• converting, based on the progressive web application and the one or more predefined formats, the received one or more autonomy messages into one or more visual elements;
• and
• displaying the one or more visual elements on the graphical user interface.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions for displaying a graphical user interface of an autonomous vehicle using a progressive web application, wherein the instructions, when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device, cause the device to:

• receive a progressive web application comprising the graphical user interface from a computing node communicatively coupled to the one or more display devices via a local network of the autonomous vehicle;
• receive, in one or more predefined formats, one or more autonomy messages from the computing node communicatively coupled to the one or more display devices via the local network of the autonomous vehicle;
• convert, based on the progressive web application and the one or more predefined formats, the received one or more autonomy messages into one or more visual elements;
• and
• display the one or more visual elements on the graphical user interface.
