Abstract
A media generation system and method with script augmentation and feedback.
Claims21
A media generation system, comprising:
- a store that contains a marked-up script in a markup language that contains a script having a scene with a plurality of shots, wherein each shot has a plurality of splitscenes, wherein each splitscene is a portion of a shot derived from the marked-up script and involves one or more actors who perform in the shot, one or more actions of the actor, and one or more blocking directions from the script;
- and
- a processor, executing instructions stored on a memory, to operate as:
- a director that, based on the marked-up script, automatically directs the one or more actors to perform in a plurality of shots specified in the marked-up script to generate recorded splitscene content, wherein the director presents, based on the marked-up script, instructions to perform the one or more actions to the one or more actors;
- an editor that, without user interaction, based on the marked-up script and a timing for each shot in each splitscene, automatically edits and combines the recorded splitscene content into a combined media presentation;
- and
- an analyzer to analyze the recorded splitscene content via signal processing to detect a variance in performance and utilize artificial intelligence to augment the marked-up script based on the signal processing to adjust the instructions for a subsequent performance of the one or more actions.

A media generation method, comprising:
- providing, in a computer system, a marked-up script in a markup language that contains a script having a scene with a plurality of shots wherein each shot has a plurality of splitscenes, wherein each splitscene is a portion of a shot derived from the marked-up script and involves at least one actor who performs in the shot, one or more actions of the actor, and one or more blocking directions from the script;
- automatically directing, by a director unit based on the marked-up script, one or more actors to perform in the plurality of shots specified in the marked-up script to generate recorded splitscene content;
- automatically editing and combining, without user interaction and based on the marked-up script and a timing for each shot, the recorded splitscene content into a combined media presentation;
- automatically evaluating the recorded splitscene content to detect a delivery variance in performance;
- and
- automatically augmenting the marked-up script based on the detected delivery variance to adjust the one or more actions for a subsequent performance.
