A method of comprising:
- (a) crossing a first tobacco plant comprising a non-natural mutation in a polynucleotide comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 18 with a second tobacco plant of a different genotype to produce one or more progeny plants or seeds, wherein said first tobacco plant comprises a Pale Yellow (PY) trait, and wherein said non-natural mutation results in a reduced level of expression of said polynucleotide as compared to a wildtype tobacco plant lacking said non-natural mutation;
- and
