Provided herein are compositions comprising (1) a citrate-based anticoagulant (AC), an aldehyde releaser (AR), a calcium channel blocker, and a sodium channel blocker and (2) a citrate-based anticoagulant (AC), an aldehyde releaser (AR), and a sodium channel blocker, and uses of such compositions for stabilizing components in a blood sample.
