Abstract
The present teachings provide for a curable adhesive formulation comprising an A-side with one or more epoxy resins and a B-side with an acidic phosphoric constituent, wherein the adhesive includes at least 30% by weight bio-based materials.
Claims23
A curable adhesive formulation comprising:
- (i) an A side with one or more epoxy resins;
- and
- (ii) a B side with one or more acidic phosphorous species;
- wherein at least 30% by weight of the adhesive comprises bio-based materials;
- and
- wherein the cured adhesive has an elongation of at least 10% as measured in accordance with ASTM D638-10.
