A polyamide resin contains a structural unit derived from a diamine and a structural unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid, 70 mol % or more of the structural unit derived from a diamine being derived from a bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, and of the structural unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid, from 99 to 60 mol % being derived from an α,ω-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 20 carbons, and from 1 to 40 mol % being derived from a cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, with the proviso that a total amount of the structural unit derived from a α,ω-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 20 carbons and the structural unit derived from a cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid does not exceed 100 mol %. Provided is a molded article.
