Abstract
Described is an antimicrobial protein SBL2200 having antimicrobial activity specific for Streptococci and, more specifically, to: a Streptococci-specific antimicrobial protein SBL2200 having the capacity to specifically lyse Streptococci and having an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1; and a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of infections caused by Streptococci, including the Streptococci-specific antimicrobial protein SBL2200 as an active ingredient.
